What is the Machu Picchu mountain?

The Machu Picchu mountain is the highest peak of the three that surround Machu Picchu (the other two are the Huayna Picchu and Putucusi mountains). Its name means ‘Old Mountain’ and was used to name the Inca city located at its feet.
