- There are 3 stations to take the train to Machu Picchu: Cusco, Poroy and Ollantaytambo.
The schedules
- The trains leave on time. It is recommended to be 30 minutes before. Depending on the time of year they may vary.

- Prices vary depending on the type of train and schedule. There are discounts for children under 12 years old. Children under 3 years travel free.
The final station
- The train trip ends at the Aguas Calientes station. To return to Cusco, you must take the train there.
The final journey to Machu Picchu
- From Aguas Calientes you must take the final bus to the door of Machu Picchu (the bus ticket is not included). The bus ride takes 30 minutes.
