The Huayna Picchu mountain offers tourists a challenging and difficult but not dangerous route. In the most difficult sections there are safety ropes where the visitor can hold on. There are also signs and park rangers at key points along the route. Visitors are advised not to seek trails outside the permitted limits. In addition, it is not allowed to take ‘selfies’ near the ravines.
